Pakistan inaugurates Punjab power plant: pennet

Power Plant with a capacity of 225 megawatts in Sheikhupura, Punjab. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister said that the joint venture between private companies and the government of Pakistan would prove to be a source of economic growth for the country

The Atlas Power plant consists of 11 four stroke diesel engines manufactured by MAN and one steam turbine. These engines are capable of operating as base-load plant on residual fuel oil and convertible into duel fuel operation with gas as well as bio-fuels as primary fuels.
