LONDON (AlertNet) - Saudi Arabia has pledged $100 million to Pakistan to help about 2.7 million people who fled their homes during fighting between government forces and the Taliban, the United Nations has said. So far Pakistan has received about $374 million in aid from more than 20 countries, private individuals and organisations.
